Milan delt a blow as three players tested positive for Covid-19

The Rossoneri pronounced that there have been three more positive test results for Covid-19 among their players, who are speculated to be Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli and Davide Calabria.

Although the three

Milan

players who tested positive for Covid-19 are not announced,

Sky Sport Italia

claims that

Fikayo Tomori

,

Alessio Romagnoli

and

Davide Calabria

are those three players since they did not make an appearance in today’s training session. They will now join Ciprian Tatarusanu and Samu Castillejo who are self-isolating.

Consequently, they will not feature for the Rossoneri when they get ready to face

Roma

in their first

Serie A

clash of 2022 on Thursday.

Club manager

Stefano Pioli

has yet to announce the name of the squad; therefore, there is no guarantee that these three are the ones who tested positive. Milan were delt a blow either way as they are already without their players Fode Ballo-Toure, Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer because they left to represent their countries in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Pietro Pellegri, Simon Kjaer and Alessandro Plizzari are also dealing with injuries and will miss the game.
