The Bitterness of Failure: How did Arsenal lose the league title after a 20-year absence?

Arsenal beat Everton with a score of (2-1), but they were unable to reclaim the title that has been absent from the club for 20 years, at the end of their tumultuous season. Learn about the details behind this bitter failure and the renewed hope that has been long awaited.

Arsenal failed to reclaim the English league title that has been absent from the club for 20 years, despite beating Everton (2-1) on Sunday in the last round.

A late goal from Kai Havertz in the 89th minute contributed to Arsenal’s victory, but this victory was not enough to reclaim the title that has been absent from the club’s treasury for two decades, due to Manchester City’s victory in their match against West Ham (3-1) at the same time.

The “TNT Sports” channel account published a picture of the German star after the match, where he appeared in a state of crying due to his team’s loss of the title.

It was clear that the former Chelsea player was greatly affected, especially after his team was very close to winning the title before they unexpectedly lost at their stadium against Aston Villa (0-2) last April.

Despite the Gunners’ victory in the last six rounds in a row, the defeat against Aston Villa gave Manchester City the advantage to win the title with a two-point difference in the end, which added deep sadness to Arsenal fans and players.
