Neville 'knows the consequences' of MLS worst record

Inter Miami has had a very poor start to its first season in MLS.

Inter Miami

head coach Phil Neville believes it will take time for them to reach the level they need after their team started poorly in the league.

Miami lost to New England Revolution 5-0 last night and was ranked at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table with the worst statistics among MLS teams. They have lost their last six games and scored  just one goal, and now Neville has claimed that there is no need for the club's owners - including former team-mate David Beckham - to remind him that the results have not been good.

"I feel their full support - I always have done," Neville said of Miami's owners. "They don't need to tell me about their concerns because I have the same concerns.

"I've been in football long enough and I know the consequences - that's no problem to me. We're doing everything in our power, we just need better performances on the field.

"I've got great responsibility and I'm accountable for everything that I do. We're on a run at the moment that puts me under pressure."
