Leno 'open to everything' in future

The German goalkeeper, who is happy to be at Arsenal, spoke about the possibility of leaving the team in the future.

Arsenal

goalkeeper Bernd Leno has claimed that he has not yet begun negotiations for an extension and said that anything could happen in the future.

The German goalkeeper, who joined Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018, has a two-year contract with the club. Talks about extending his contract have not yet begun, and while he is happy to be in London, he has emphasized that he may be looking for new adventures in the future.

“Not yet and at the moment it's not the time to speak about the future,”

he said.

“I know that I still have two years left on my contract and I'm also 29. For a goalkeeper, that's not too old. I've still got some years to go.

“I’m very happy at the club. I don't know what will come in the future, but I'm open to everything. Maybe for a new adventure or to stay at Arsenal. Like I said, I don't think about my future because two years is a long time. At the moment there are no conversations with the club or anything else.”
