It is said that the discussions have taken place and everything is just set for the 43-year-old to manage the team.

Phil Neville

,

England Women

boss, has been offered to take the managing role of the Major League Soccer side by

Inter Miami

.

The two sides of the deal have already talked to each other.

Inter Miami is co-owned by

David Beckham

, Neville's former team-mate in Manchester United and England. Beckham is also his fellow co-owner of league two Salford City.

During playing for Manchester United he won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, three FA Charity Shields, the Intercontinental Cup, and the Champions League.

His contract with England ends in July and Sarina Wiegman, Holland boss, will stand as the England women boss.

However, there is no confirmed information on the position of Diego Alonso, Inter Miami's boss.

Neville has led the women to the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup in France since the beginning of his contract as the women's head coach in January 2018.

In April 2020, it was announced that he was set to leave the team. However, this was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

His England team has not played internationally since march after they won only three games out of the eleven in the SheBelieves Cup campaign.
