Born in Santos, Säo Paulo, Brazil, on 3 August 1994, Emerson Palmieri dos Santos, known as Emerson Palmieri or simply Emerson, was born to his Italian mother, Eliana Palmieri, and to his Brazilian father, Reginaldo Alves dos Santos.

On his mother's side, Emerson has Italian heritage and has been an Italian citizen since March 2017. He grew up with his older brother, Giovanni, who is also a footballer who, like him, plays left-handed. Since the age of 15, Emerson has been a fan of English football.

After coming through the youth system, he made his debut for Santos at the age of 16, and by 18 he had developed himself as a regular in the first team, thanks to him rising to the highest level of football rank in the club. Since winning the 2013 Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior for the Santos U20 team, scouts began circling him like sharks.

It was the scouts from Palermo who ultimately helped him move to Europe. Thanks to his mother, who comes from the country, his choice for the Italian side came through. The chance was used by Emerson to get closer to his immediate family. Italian club Palermo, who took him on loan with an option to purchase for the 2014/15 season.

Unfortunately, his opportunities to shine were few and far between and the club did not see the possibility of keeping the contract permanent after making just nine appearances.

It's all too easy to fall in love and get swept up in the whirlwind of the thrill of forever planning a life together.

Emerson Palmieri profile

Emerson Palmieri is renowned for becoming a Brazilian professional footballer. Since 2018, he is better known for being left-back for Chelsea, the Premier League Club.

In Santos,

Brazil

, Emerson Palmieri was born on 3rd August 1994. Emerson Palmieri dos Santos is his birth name/real name. In terms of race, he is Brazilian and his race is mixed. White is his ethnicity. He has Italian origins from Rossano, close to Cosenza in Calabria, on his mother's side, and has been an

Italian

citizen since March 2017.

He was born to his parents, Reginaldo Alves dos Santos, a Brazilian father, and Eliana Palieri, an Italian mother.

He also has a son, Giovanni, an older brother. His brother is a footballer and a left-back as well. He was celebrating his 26th birthday in 2020. His Zodiac sign is Leo.

Emerson Palmieri is a very young and effective player in football who has achieved a high point in his career. He accumulated an immense amount of money throughout his lifetime. His primary source of income derives from a career in football. From his teens, he has been very involved throughout his football career and he is now actively playing for the club.

He has devoted an enormous amount of effort to making himself one of the world's most famous footballers.

He then joined the English team, Chelsea, on 30 January 2018 on a four-and-a-half-year basis with a transfer fee of € 20 million plus a € 9 million bonus. He's getting a cool € 4.2 million wage. And a net worth of € 12 million as of 2020. Whereas € 18 million in its market value. He is loving his earnings at present and he is leading a luxurious lifestyle.

Style of play

We take a look at Emerson and his individual movements in this tactical analysis, and precisely what tactics are used in his style of play. Our Scout report will report on the offensive, defending, and build-up play of Palmieri.

There is a shift in the modern full-back position. With complete backs like Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold having changed the position for good, more teams require their complete backs to have an additional element that leads them to victory.

On the surface, in contrast to Alonso, his immediate competitor for the full-back spot, Emerson seems to give little. In contrast to Emerson's zero attacking efforts in the entire PL season, Alonso registered two goals and four assists only last year.

However, it is clear that Emerson gives teams far more attacking contributions than his fellow left-back in Chelsea after further review.

The capacity to begin attacks down the wings with limited squad support is one of the modern full-back criteria. For teams playing offensive football, finding full-backs that do not catalyze offensive acts leaves the team at risk when the team's assault is required to grow on the other side or through a certain action regularly.

The exact full-back condition is fulfilled by Emerson. Emerson is able to continue attacking games on the wing with a close midfielder or a winger for Chelsea and Italy.

Not only does this make Emerson a dynamic player, but it also brings attacking utility to the team as it opens up new opportunities for the team to show defense.

Reception

Chelsea agreed on a long-term contract with defender Emerson Palmieri from Roma.

For Marcos Alonso, the Blues need cover at left-back, having allowed Kenedy to join Newcastle's Premier League rivals on loan until the end of the season.

Palmieri, 23, has agreed to the Premier League club's four-and-a-half-year pact.

"He told the official website of Chelsea: "English football is something I've been enjoying since the age of 15. It's a very nice game over here, but playing it is going to be much more lovely.

I came to this place because it's a wonderful team with a fantastic past. One of my fantasies today is to put on the jersey of such a wonderful club.

After a severe knee injury, former Brazil under 17 international Palmieri, who has since switched international allegiances to Italy, has been reduced to only two starts in all Serie A club Roma competitions this season.

As such, in the upcoming Champions League tie against Barcelona, the defender will be able to play for Chelsea.

Emerson is a young and promising player who improves the squad and can have outstanding competition for positions when we achieve excellence in three separate competitions," said Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia."
