Absence of the Champions: The Mystery of the Anticipated Youth Confrontation

Training Challenges and Hope of Return: Behind the Scenes of Al-Ittihad Jeddah

The absence of the star duo of Al-Ittihad Jeddah team, N'Golo Kante and Luiz Felipe, did not go unnoticed by the watchful eye of Marcelo Gallardo, the distinguished Argentine coach of the team. The duo did not just stay away from the training sessions held last Monday evening, but their absence was accompanied by the dissatisfaction and anxiety it caused in the coach, especially as time is accelerating towards the date of the anticipated match against Al-Shabab.

It is no secret that the duo's recent absence from the confrontation with Al-Hazm in round 28 of the Saudi Professional League took breaths, as this was due to the injury they suffered, where Gallardo revealed some details of these painful injuries.

According to what was covered by the "Al-Riyadh" newspaper, the duo Kante and Felipe did not participate in today's training session, which reduces hopes in their ability to participate in the anticipated meeting against Al-Shabab in round 29, which is scheduled to be held next Friday.

The duo continues on their path towards rehabilitation, after the injuries they suffered during the confrontation with Al-Hilal in the final of the Saudi Super Cup, where they continue the hard and continuous work to regain their full physical fitness and rejoin the team ranks.

In a related context, the team resumed its training today after its players were given a rest yesterday, Sunday, following the difficult victory they achieved at the expense of Al-Hazm with a score of 3-2, as part of the preparations for the upcoming challenges and important matches awaiting the team in the near future.
