Manchester United Reaches the English FA Cup Final

On the Heels of Victory: In a fiery confrontation with their bitter neighbor, Fulham, the match ended in a draw and then United won on penalties.

Manchester United’s penalty kicks led the team to the final match of the English FA Cup at the expense of Coventry City, which plays in the First Division (Championship), last Sunday, in the semi-final round.

The match ended in a 3-3 draw after the original and extra stages, which were held at Wembley Stadium in London, and the result of the penalty shootout came in favor of Manchester United.

Scott McTominay started scoring for the Red team in the 23rd minute, and his teammates Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes added the second and third goals in the 45+1 and 58 minutes respectively.

Despite Manchester United’s performance decline, Coventry City managed to reduce the difference thanks to a goal by Ellis Simms in the 71st minute, and then his teammate Callum O’Hare scored the second goal in the 79th minute.

In the dying moments of the match, Coventry City managed to score the equalizing goal through Haji Wright from a penalty kick in the 90+5 minute.

After the two extra stages, the teams had to resort to penalty kicks, which ended with Manchester United winning (4-2), qualifying them to face their rival team Manchester City in the final match, which won 1-0 against Chelsea in the other semi-final last Saturday.
