Arsenal 3–2 Manchester United: Nketiah Rescues the Gunners

The Premier League leaders Arsenal hosted their rivals Manchester United in their 19th league game of the season. The Gunners took all three points with a late winner.

Manchester United

was the only side that has beaten the Gunners so far this season, and Mikel Arteta's side was eager to take revenge at Emirates Stadium. A 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace ended the revived Red Devils' run of victories, while a victory over the Gunners could officially include Erik ten Hag's side in the race for the Premier League title. Winning four out of five matches since the Premier League restart, Arsenal was on great form.

Though the Gunners started the game on the front foot, it was Marcus Rashford who opened up the scoresheet in the 17th minute. However, Nketiah scored the equalizer in less than 10 minutes as the two sides settled on a draw for the first half.

Saka gave the Gunners advantage in the 53rd minute before Martinez equalized. After a long tense game, Nketiah completed his brace in stoppage time to win his side all three points.
