Jude Bellingham: Between two decisive matches and his Laureus award
An exciting week for the English star in his journey with Real Madrid
The English international star, Jude Bellingham, who plays for Real Madrid, confirmed that he feels tired after a very special tough week, where he played two important matches against Manchester City and Barcelona.
Bellingham led his team, Real Madrid, to qualify at the expense of Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after the match ended in a draw and was decided by penalty kicks, and the next day, Real Madrid beat Barcelona in a very exciting match with a score of (3-2) in the Spanish League Clasico.
During the press conference held at the Seville Palace, after winning the Laureus award for the best exceptional sports achievement, Bellingham expressed his feelings by saying: “These 24 hours were the most exciting and impactful moments of my life. Winning the Clasico was something very special, my teammates and the technical staff were wonderful, as well as the fans. It’s a very unique feeling to score in the Clasico, I always strive to give the best of myself.”
He added in his statement reported by the “Marca” newspaper: “I did my best, I’m not perfect, but I always strive to have a positive impact on the team.”
He continued saying: “It was indeed a crazy week, and I felt tired, it was days full of challenges, and I feel very proud of winning this award.”
He added: “I hope to achieve more achievements with Real Madrid and also with the England national team.”
About his feeling after winning the award, he said: “It is important for me to enjoy the beautiful moments, and to be responsible towards others. I want to help others.”
About the possibility of his continuation with Real Madrid, he indicated saying: “I hope to achieve more successes, and I will continue to work with Real Madrid and the England national team, success requires a lot of work and sacrifices.”
He concluded by directing a message saying: “I think it is important for athletes to enjoy what they do, we love this work. We have to realize our responsibilities towards future generations, I know I am not perfect and I will make mistakes, but I want to do my best.
