Italian transfer expert claims Antonio Conte will leave Tottenham

Famous Italian football reporter, Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Antonio Conte will leave Tottenham at the end of the season.

in an 18-month deal in November 2021 and helped them qualify for the Champions League. Conte’s contract expires in June and so far he has refused to extend it.

Conte has been linked with his former team

Juventus

in recent months, and now Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that he will leave the English club at the end of the season.

"The news I can tell you with certainty is that Antonio Conte will leave Tottenham at the end of the season. The spark did not go off, the contract is expiring and the club did not ask him for renewal."

he said as quoted by FcInter1908.

“President Levy does not like the frequent jibes and he wants a club where he can win.

Not being able to compete for certain targets and not having the same feeling as in the past, without cover from Paratici, they [Conte and Tottenham] will part ways.

“I still don’t know his next club and perhaps, before returning abroad, he will think twice after what he said about his family.”

Reports suggest that Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel are Tottenham's candidates if Antonio Conte leaves in the coming months. Tuchel is reportedly interested in the job and would be open to listening to an offer from the north London club.

Conte has won four Serie A titles with Juventus and Inter, and one Premier League with Chelsea.

Tottenham is in fifth place in the Premier League after 20 matches. They are six points behind fourth-placed Manchester United. Tottenham will face Milan in the Champions League Round of 16 in February.
