Tottenham Hotspur regains the charm of victories and Burnley

The struggle for survival and farewell in the Premier League: A glimpse of the events of Round 37 and the sad farewell of Burnley and Luton Town teams

In its tough match against Burnley, Tottenham Hotspur succeeded in regaining the rhythm of victories in the Premier League, winning (2-1) against its guest who officially relegated to the second division.

The relegation triangle in the league was completed with Luton Town’s loss away from home against West Ham United by a score of (3-1), in the matches of Round 37 of the competition held on Saturday.

On the pitch of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, “Spurs” faced a great difficulty, as the loss came in favor of the visiting team with an early goal in the 25th minute by the young Danish winger Jakob Bruun Larsen.

But Tottenham’s response came quickly by scoring the equalizing goal seven minutes later through the Spanish player Pedro Porro, and the first half ended with a draw with one goal for each team.

The match was heading towards a draw until the last minutes, when the winning goal came in the 82nd minute to bring joy to Tottenham fans, through the Dutch player Micky van de Van.

With this victory, Tottenham Hotspur team regained victories after suffering four consecutive defeats, raising its score to 63 points in the fifth place, which keeps hope alive to end the season in the golden square and participate in the Champions League next season.

With only a four-point difference behind Aston Villa, it seems that Tottenham is steps away from qualifying for the European competitions, especially with a postponed match against Manchester City on the horizon.

With Burnley officially relegated to the second division after a tough season, they accompany Sheffield United as the teams descending to the second division, while Luton Town and Bournemouth need to work harder to achieve survival in the Premier League.
