Kane praises Pele as the Brazil legend’s condition worsens

England striker Harry Kane is sad to see “incredible” Pele’s health take a turn for the worst and wishes him well.

Harry Kane

has decided to express his thoughts on the matter.

Speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s game against Senegal, Kane said:

"First and foremost, we send our best wishes to him, and his family. He's an inspiration in our game, an incredible footballer and an incredible person and to hear those words from him was really special. As someone who is always learning, he was spot on with his advice.

"It's sad to hear that news, we wish him well, not just me but the whole England squad."

The 82-year-old Brazilian legend first won the World Cup in 1958 at the age of 17 and went on to win it twice more in 1962 and 1970, arguably becoming the best World Cup player of all time. Many footballing personalities like fellow World Cup winners

Kylian Mbappe

and Rivaldo have already sent their best wishes.
