Bayern ask Atletico about Joao Felix’s availability

Bayern Munich asked Atletico Madrid about the availability of Joao Felix in June as both Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry might go out the exit door this summer, as per reports from Sport1.

Bayern Munich’

s request and their €80m offer could not have turned things around as the Spanish side bought

Joao Felix

for more than €120m in 2019.

The reports come after knowing that Alvaro Morata was offered to Bayern Munich as Lewandowski’s successor.

According to the reports, the Bundesliga side would have been open to adding a player in a contract for Felix, with Benjamin Pavard’s name being mentioned in their offer. The 26-year-old’s position is really tough as Bayern are completing a deal with Matthijs de Lig from Juventus.

It seems pretty unlikely that Bayern would sign Felix, with the Bundesliga champions now considering meeting Gnabry’s deal demands. The officials of the club are planning to meet Gnabry’s representatives this week to talk about his future as his deal is due to reach its end in 12 months.
