Mourinho faces a two-game ban
Roma boss Jose Mourinho will be away for two games after his behavior in their recent match.
Mourinho
had a bad moment in
Roma’sclash against
Hellas Veronaand was sent off for his outburst and shouting at the referee and then shooting the ball into the air, and now the authorities have given him a two-game ban as he allegedly accuses the referee of being sent by Juventus.
According to
La Stampa, Mourinho yelled towards referee Luca Pairetto:
"They sent you on purpose, Juve sent you
..."
The referee that Mourinho was shouting with has been a referee in Serie A in 92 games and has recently become an international referee, and his brother has worked with
Juventusfor seven years.
Mourinho has been known for his behavior and his angry moments, and since his return to Serie A at the beginning of the season, he has faced multiple disciplinary issues, and the last time he was sent off in his side’s clash against Napoli after being booked twice.
And now, with his most recent disciplinary issue, he will miss his side’s clash against
Speziaand
Atalanta, which can be important clashes for Roma considering their position on the table.
