Barcelona quick in their efforts to vaccinate staff

The Catalan club have vaccinated almost all of their playing and non-playing staff.

Since the start of the vaccination against COVID-19 in Spain, football clubs have tried to vaccinate their staff as quickly as possible. The sporting and economic damages of the virus are well known and clubs are determined to avoid the helpless situation of the last year to be repeated. 

As one of the biggest football clubs of Spain, Barcelona have moved quickly to protect their staff against the virus. According to

Mundo Deportivo

, Barcelona have successfully vaccinated 99% of their playing staff, working in conjunction with the local medical board. 

In terms of total staff, the club have vaccinated 92% of their employees, which is well over the vaccination rates in Catalonia. 73.2% of the Catalans have received their first doses of the vaccine, while 62% are fully vaccinated.
