Demiral plans to depart Juventus

The Turkey international has undergone his medicals before the beginning of the pre-season this morning, but as per reports in Italy, he is aiming for a departure from the Bianconeri.

Merih Demiral

is going to join his teammates for the pre-season after playing for his country at Euro 2020.

He had his medical tests done this morning at the J Medical; however, he may not stay in Turin for so long.

Based on reports from

Calciomercato.com

, the 23-year-old plans to depart

Juventus

as he looks for regular game time, something that he lacks with falling behind Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Matthijs de Ligt in Massimiliano Allegri’s pecking order.

The Bianconeri are willing to cash in on the ex-Sassuolo player for an offer of around €30m, but according to his entourage, his demanding price is too high.

Tottenham

are seeking information about the Turkish, but they seem more likely to land Atalanta’s Cristian Romero.

Leicester City

and

Everton

are keeping tabs on the centre-back as well as

Roma

and

Atalanta

. La Dea may get Demiral’s signature should Romero make a move to Tottenham.
