Little difference between PSG and Milan - Dino Zoff

Tue 08 June 2021 | 17:42

Italy legend Dino Zoff believes Gianluigi Donnarumma is not stepping up a level by joining PSG.

Donnarumma rejected €8m annually; instead, he left as a free agent and is now on the verge of signing a deal with PSG.

This has been going on for months now. If he prefers to go to PSG, he is free to do so. If he thinks that he can earn more and be happy, good luck to him,

” Zoff told PianetaMilan.it.

“However, I see little difference between PSG and Milan in football terms.”

After seven years, Milan returned to the Champions League and was ranked second in Serie A after the city rival Inter.

“I think Donnarumma is a young goalkeeper who could certainly become excellent, but I wouldn’t call him the best in the world right now. He needs more experience.

“Stefano Pioli has done a great job and the Champions League qualification was not a target to be taken for granted.”
