We will manage the fixtures correctly, says Southgate

Jose Mourinho has been concerned about the situation of Harry Kane in the national team as the striker has been overworked.

Although

Harry Kane

is spending a wonderful season so far in terms of his records of scoring goals and assists, he has not been lucky with injuries. He has been the best player of

Spurs

so far this season, carrying the weight of Jose Mourinho’s side.

Ahead of preparing the team for the next match, Gareth Southgate has promised to take care of Harry Kane and not play him in all the minutes possible.

"If I allowed Harry to make every decision he would play every minute,"

Southgate told a pre-match press conference.

"That won't be happening. It is brilliant we have a captain who wants to play every minute of every game but we have got to be mindful he had extra time last Thursday and another high-intensity game on Sunday.

"We have got to make sure we manage the fixtures correctly."
