Idea of Icardi and Dybala swap isn't out of the question

The idea surrounding a possible exchange involving Paulo Dybala and Mauro Icardi isn't completely dead and buried yet.

Juventus have not lost hope of signing Mauro Icardi before the transfer window shuts next Monday, as reported by Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri have six days to sell Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala, who need to leave in order to create space in their squad. Dybala could either join Inter in a direct swap with Icardi or alternatively he could move to Paris Saint-Germain and allow Juve to reinvest the money into a deal for Maurito.

TS confirmed Fabio Paratici was not enthusiastic about the first idea while Beppe Marotta did not seem convinced about the latter. Icardi appears to have decided he will only leave Inter this week if Juventus agree on a deal with the Nerazzurri and offer him their no. 9 shirt.

Napoli have not given up yet and are still hoping Icardi changes his mind about their offer, but it is more likely he stays in Milan than joins the Parteneopei. Inter are thought to be more open to the idea of negotiating with Juventus now compared to earlier in the summer when they were only prepared to consider a swap deal involving Dybala.

It remains to be seen whether the clubs have enough time to sort out their differences, with little more than a week now until the market shuts for another four months.

Icardi has already been told that he isn't part of the plans at Inter, despite Wanda Nara's calls for him staying at the club. Paulo Dybala has been up for sale over the last few weeks but no club has signed him.

RaiSport claim that the idea of a swap involving Icardi and Dybala isn't out of the question despite both the clubs denying any talks of the very idea.
