Revealed: Manchester City’s 2020-21 Season Home, Away, & 3rd Kits

Manchester City is one of the most successful clubs in the English Premier League with a long and reach history in crests and kits.

Manchester City was founded in 1880 under the name of St. Mark’s (West Gordon) Football Club. It did not take long for them to become interested in sky blue and white colors.

The reason for this interest remains unclear; however, the significant presence of sea in the club’s logos might give us a clue.

The Citizens finished the seasons as the runner-up with 75 points, after Liverpool. The Reds finished the season as the champions with 93 points.

Now the team is competing in the UEFA Champions League and has already been chosen to participate in next season's competition!

However, there are some news, which we believe may bring a joyful smile to the faces of the club’s eager fans and that is the news about Manchester City’s next season kits.

Manchester City

and

Puma

started their partnership in 2019 with a 10-year deal worth of £650million. In revealing the 2019-20 season shirts, the jersey manufacturers decided to employ Piet’s Mondrian greatest abstract compositions in the commercials and vividly reflected their view that art is inseparable from sports.

The delight of art, culture, and history appears to have found its’ place in

as well.

Manchester City’s 2020-21 Season Home Kits

While the away and third Manchester City shirts have not been released yet. the Citizens first kit is the one the fans are already in love with.

Manchester City’s 2020-21 season home kits involve graphics inspired by Manchester’s architecture, landscape, and arts. In addition, the highly-regarded tradition of mosaic art within the city are applied to the home shirts.

The shorts of Manchester City's 2020-21 kit are white or blue, depending on the opposition, while the socks are blue.

The Etihad club released their latest home strip on July 16.

Manchester City’s 2020-21 Season Away Kits

Reflecting on the long history of the club, Puma has decided to combine the colors of black and “dark denim”, a dark shade of blue, for Manchester’s City’s 2020-21 season away kits.

Similar to the team's first kit, the Manchester City away kit is inspired by the architecture of Manchester and has a mosaic-inspired pattern.

Copper golden logos are used on the Puma Manchester City 2020-21 away jersey.

The kit is expected to be announced in late July, along with the third kit.

will be produced using the colors “Whisper-White”, a very light shade of beige, and “Peacoat”, a shade of navy blue.

These classic colors are followed by an original design by Puma to represent the rich history of the city’s music.

The company has officially stated: “Manchester’s music scene has always been an influence on other brands worldwide. The iconic TV program “Top of the Pops” was run by the BBC, from 1964-2006, originally recorded in the city itself.

The Man City 20-21 third kit takes inspiration from the Paisley floral pattern which was intrinsically associated to the “Brit Pop” music scene of the 1960s and 1990s.”

The shorts of the Man City 20-21 third kit are dark blue, while the socks are white.
