Roland Wohlfarth

Roland Wohlfarth stated his football career at BV Borussia Bocholt. Borussia Bocholt is the club from Roland Wohlfarth's hometown. The club was founded in 1960, so it is just three years older than Wohlfarth. In 1981 he joined his first senior football club,

Despite Duisburg failed to get a 1. Bundesliga promotion, Roland Wohlfarth jumped to the top of German football by joining Bayern Munich. In 1984–85 Wohlfarth had 42 caps for Bayern and scored 19 goals in all competitions and won the Bundesliga title. The next two seasons also ended with Bayern's championship in Bundesliga. In 1985–86 DFB-Pokal final Roland Wohlfarth scored a hat trick that gained another trophy for Bayern.

Claudio Pizarro is probably the most prominent Peruvian footballer ever and one of the

best Bayern Munich forwards ever

. Before moving to Europe and playing for big clubs such as Bayern Munich,

. In 1999 he joined Werder Bremen at the age of 20. In two seasons he caped in 76 matches and scored 38 and represented himself as a promising talent. Among many big European clubs eager to sign him in, Claudio Pizarro chose Bayern. 

It took only four minutes in his debut to score for Bayern in the match against

 Although the first season in Bayern ended without major trophies but he was already a key player for Bayern. In following seasons Pizarro helped Bayern to win the both Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. After one year gap, Bayern did the Double, two times in a row in 2004–05 and 2005–06. 

In 2007 after six years Pizarro left Bayern and joined Chelsea. He didn't find a way to be a key player in Premier League and after one season returned to Bundesliga. In Werder Bremen he felt like home and his magnificent performances convinced the German club to keep him. In 2012 Pizarro once again joined Bayern and repeated two back to back Doubles.

There is a difference though because in 2012–13 they won the UEFA Champions League too and became the first German team to achieve a Treble. Pizarro celebrated his last season with Bayern with another Bundesliga championship and went back to Bremen. Claudio Pizarro is the second of the best forwards in Bayern Munich history who isn’t a German, next to Robert Lewandowski.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Rummenigge is a German executive who once was one of the best Bayern Munich forwards of all time. He began his career in a club called

from 1963 to 1974. Then he was transferred to Bayern for a fee of €10,000. In 10 years in the club, he appeared in 310 games and scored 162 goals just in Bundesliga. At first, his scoring qualities were insignificant, but he had great improvements later, especially when coach Pal Csernai arrived in 1979. He also had great speed and dribbling skills. 

With the club, he won two Bundesliga championships and two DFB-Pokal. He got the European Cup for two consecutive years and an International cup in 1976. Among his numerous individual awards, Rummenigge managed to be in the Kicker Bundesliga team of the season for nine consecutive years. As one of the best Bayern Munich forwards of all time, he was titled Bundesliga top goal scorer three times and got the Goal of the year award two times and a footballer of the year in Germany. Also, in 1980 and 81 he won the Ballon d’Or and Onze d’Or. In the championship 80–81 season, he was the top goal scorer.

In 1984 he ended his career in Bayern and joined Inter Milan for a fee of €5.7 million. In 1991, Bayern invited Rummenigge and Franz Beckenbauer to return as vice presidents. Rummenigge was a V.P. until 2002 when he was appointed as the chairman of the executive board of the new football department of the club, FC Bayern Munchen AG.

Gerd Müller

Gerd Müller is the best of the best Bayern Munich forwards of all time and is regarded one of the best players and goal scorers of all time. He joined Bayern Munich in 1964 and teamed up with the future Bayern star Franz Beckenbauer and Sepp Maier. Back then Bayern still was in Regionalliga Süd which was one level below Bundesliga.

After one season in the club, they made to Bundesliga and began a long string of successes. In his 15 years playing for Bayern, Müller scored 398 goals in 453 appearances. He was short and not notably fast, but he had an uncanny goalscoring instinct. His short legs gave him perfect balance in spaces and he could rely on short bursts of speed. For seven years, he got the Bundesliga top scorer title and won two European golden shoe awards. 

In 1972, he was the UEFA European Championship Top Scorer and got into the UEFA European Championship Team of the Tournament. Also, in four years he won European Cup Top Scorer, which in three of them Bayern won the European cup. He is now on the IFFHS Legends list and the Bayern Munich All-time XI.

As one of the best Bayern Munich forwards of all time, he got the 2007 golden foot title. On the international level, averaging more than a goal a game with West Germany, Müller is now 19th on the list of all time international goal scorers, despite playing fewer matches than every other player in the top 48. Among the top scorers, he has the third highest goal to game ratio.
