Hans Flick’s Vision: Searching for the Best in the Transfer Season

The new coach’s strategy to strengthen the Blaugrana team in various lines: midfield, defense, and attack

According to a Spanish press report issued today, Saturday, it seems that the German coach Hans Flick, who was recently appointed as the new coach of Barcelona, has identified his needs for the upcoming summer transfer period.

It is expected that the official announcement of Flick’s appointment as the team’s coach will be made in the next few days, replacing Xavi Hernandez.

According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, it seems that Flick is looking for a player to strengthen the midfield, and the German player Joshua Kimmich, a Bayern Munich player, is the closest option, especially with the end of his contract with the Bavarian club in just one year.

In addition to Kimmich, it seems that Flick has also agreed to include Argentine Guido Rodriguez, whose contract with Real Betis ends at the end of the current season.

As for the defense, it seems that Flick is also seeking to include new defenders, perhaps in the left-back position, where Barcelona will try to extend the loan of Joao Cancelo, despite the injury of Alejandro Balde which has kept him off the fields for a while.

The Catalan team also has some young options in the left-back position, such as Hector Fort and Julian Araujo loaned to Las Palmas.

As for the attack, Barcelona is also seeking to contract a new winger with the ability for individual creativity, and among the options is Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, who has a penalty clause in his contract worth 60 million euros.

The newspaper indicates that completing this deal may require getting rid of Brazilian Rafinha.

Barcelona is also watching the duo Bernardo Silva from Manchester City and Xavi Simons from Paris Saint-Germain as other potential options.
