Manchester City sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves

Matheus Nunes has signed a five-year contract at Man City.

have completed the signing of Matheus Nunes.

Matheus Nunes, after signing a contract with Manchester City, said on the official website of the club that he could not reject the opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola.

“The opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest managers ever, and alongside some of the best players in the world was something I couldn’t turn down," 

he said.

“I’ve learned so much during my season at Wolves and I’m excited to continue improving in the Premier League, a division which brings the best out of me.

“I’m really excited to get going, meet the fans and hopefully be a part of plenty more success at City.”

Last season, Nunes scored two goals for Wolves in 34 Premier League games.

Manchester City will play against Fulham in the fourth week of the Premier League.
