Man City have signed defender Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig
Josko Gvardiol has signed a five-year contract at Man City until 2028.
Manchester City confirm the signing of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig on a five-year deal.
After signing the contract, he expressed on Manchester City's official website that he had always dreamed of playing in England.
“I have always dreamed of one day playing in England and to be doing so now with Manchester City – after the season they have just had – is a real honour for me,"
he said.
"Anyone who saw Manchester City play last season knows they are the best team in the world. To win the Treble says everything you need to know about the quality this team has. To be joining City is something very special for me and my family."
Gvardiol scored 5 goals in 88 matches for Leipzig.
He has also played 21 matches for the Croatian national team and scored two goals.
