Nathan Ake has extended his

Man City

contract, keeping him at the club until 2027.

Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City's Director of Football, expressed his happiness about Ake's contract extension.

“We have been delighted with Nathan’s development, so it’s great news for this football club that he is extending his time with us."

he said.

“There is no doubt he was a very important part of our treble success last season, but I believe he can be even better.”

He joined Manchester City from Bournemouth in 2020 with a five-year contract worth £41 million.
