Chelsea finally reach an agreement with Benfica to sign
Enzo Fernandezon a permanent long-term deal for a fee of £105m which is the British transfer record.
Benfica has greenlit Fernandez for a medical, as the two clubs are trying to sign the required paperwork before the 11pm deadline.

Chelsea’s No. 1 target in the transfer window. The Blues had reached an agreement with the players on the terms of his contract since the first week of January but the actual agreement with Benfica fell through a couple of times.
The deal was in danger even in its final hours as the structure to pay the massive release clause of £105m for the player was not agreed upon between the two clubs but Chelsea looks to have got the deal over the line in the end with official announcements coming soon.
