Krunic extends his contract with Milan until 2025

The Bosnian star added another year to his contract with the Rossoneri.

have confirmed that

Rade Krunic

has extended his contract until 2025.

The 28-year-old midfielder, who had a contract with

Milan

until June 2024, added one year to the duration of this contract. He joined Milan in 2019 for 8.6 million euros from Empoli. Signed by Milan under Marco Giampaolo, he has become one of the key pieces in Stefano Pioli's tactics over the last two years.

The player from Bosnia has the ability to play in the position of attacking midfielder and central midfielder. He scored 9 goals in 149 games for his team and played 27 national games. He made his debut for Bosnia in 2016.

Club's statement reads:

“AC Milan is delighted to announce that Rade Krunić has extended his contract with the Club until 30 June 2025.

“Rade joined AC Milan in the summer of 2019 and has gone on to play 91 matches in all competitions for the Rossoneri, providing the midfield with solidity and quality.”
