Everton rejected Chelsea's bid for Gordon

Several Premier League clubs are interested in signing the English striker, but Everton are resisting his sale.

Everton

have rejected

Chelsea

's £45m bid for

Anthony Gordon

.

The two clubs had entered into negotiations in the last few days and the officials of the London club presented their offer officially. However, Everton are reluctant to sell Gordon and have offered their striker an extension.

With Chelsea's bid increasing, it is likely that Everton will be content to sell their star as Frank Lampard will need to sign a striker until the end of the transfer window and they will have to spend more. Chelsea has been monitoring Gordon's condition since last week, but it was said that Everton did not receive an official offer.

Tottenham had tried to attract the England under-21 striker along with Richarlison and had made an offer of 80 million pounds, but failed in their mission. Newcastle also monitored his conditions, but did not make an official offer.
