Kounde's first words after joining Barca: 'I’m really proud'
Koundé confirms Xavi Hernández is the man who changed the deal.

Jules Koundeon a permanent transfer, pending a medical to make the deal official.
Kounde’s signing comes after a long bidding war between Barça and
Chelsea
, who last Thursday reached an agreement with Sevilla on a deal worth over €60 million but were never given the green light to make the transfer official.
Kounde's first words as a new Barcelona player are, “I’m proud, grateful. I can’t wait to join the team and start this Barcelona story. I say thanks to Sevilla, but Barca is a top step in my career - so here I want to win all competitions”.
