Barcelona eyeing Moreno as a back up if Lewandowski pursuit fail
The Barcelona player are keeping an eye on Robert Lewandowski as their priority for the summer.
Robert Lewandowski
revealed that he wants to depart
Bayern Munichand make a move to
Barcelona. However, Bayern denied the transfer and insisted that the Polish striker has to see out his contract which will keep him for another year.
Speculations suggest that if he doesn’t depart Bayern, Barcelona would consider
Gerard Moreno
from
Villarrealas a replacement.
The striker ended a season filled with a lot of injury hit but he still managed to net nine goals in La Liga.
His release clause is 100 million euro, but Villarreal are open to negotiations. Reports claim that a price tag of 40 million would be fair. Barcelona are also entering a bidding war with Atletico Madrid, who are keen on finding a replacement for Luis Suárez.
