Carlo Ancelotti: After Real Madrid career, I will retire
Carlo Ancelotti is contemplating his future after leading Real Madrid to the LaLiga title in his first season back.

When he led Real Madrid to
triumph last week, the 62-year-old became the only coach in history to win each of Europe's top five leagues. Ancelotti's illustrious managing career covered 26 years and 11 jobs, including two spells with Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.

Ancelotti, who has won a record-tying three European Cups at the club level, has hinted that he may be persuaded to manage an international team for the 2026 World Cup. "Yes, there may be a national team," he replied, "but it's too early to talk about it." "Not for this World Cup, for sure." But why not for the one in 2026?"
When asked if he is interested in leading Canada, which will co-host the tournament with the United States and Mexico, Ancelotti replied, "Why not?" They've done a fantastic job."
