PSG eyeing Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo
The Blaugrana’s plan to renew contract with Ronald Araujo is becoming complicated as days go by, as per reports from Diario Sport.
Ronald Araujo
has awakened interest from many great clubs including
Paris Saint-Germainas his deal with
Barcelonais due to expire in 2023. Should he decide against renewing his contract this season, the club will sell him to the highest bidder.
Barcelona want to keep his services but cannot offer him something crazy because of their financial problems and the centre-back wants his value to be recognized by the club.
Since January, his conditions have changed just a little. The Blaugrana’s first bid for him was close to €3m per season, which is a low salary considering his worth for the team. He is the defence leader and the most important centre-back.
However, he aims to be in the same bracket Pedri, Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres are. He is okay with losing money since he attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United but he is wishing for being valued. PSG are keen on acquiring his services.
