Barcelona aim to add two more signings this month

Joan Laporta has promised the Barcelona boss that the club would strengthen in the winter transfer window. It is speculated that the Blaugrana are considering two more signings, a left-back and a forward.

As per reports from

Diario AS

,

Barcelona

planned to strengthen their team in the January transfer window. However, they have limited time as the transfer window closes next Monday and the Blaugrana need to reduce their wage bill if they aim to bring in more signings.

Ousmane Dembele

is making things harder as he does not plan to renew his deal with Barcelona and the club has publicly requested him to depart and free them of his salary.

As for the favorite incomings,

Nicolas Tagliafico

is among the candidates for the left-back, although

Ajax

are demanding a fee of €7m for him.

They are also eyeing

Alvaro Morata

as their centre-forward, although again

Juventus

’ asking price for him is hard to meet. Should they fail in acquiring his services, they may make an offer for Elche striker

Lucas Boye

.
