Senegal’s match against Guinea ends in a draw

Mane fails to help his side defeat Guinea in their second game in AFCON.

Despite having well-known stars,

Senegal

failed to defeat

Guinea

in the Africa Cup of Nations in a game that

Liverpool’s

high-profile striker

Sadio Mane

failed to show the performance that was expected from him.

Liverpool’s manager

Jurgen Klopp

had to face the Gunners without three key players in his side’s EFL Cup clash against

Arsenal

as he was without Senegal's Sadio Mane and Guinea's

Naby Keita

, as well as Mohamed Salah of Egypt but Senegal and Guinea’s Liverpool players both, failed to change the result for their sides in their clash as the Lions of Teranga keep looking for their first AFCON title because their best performance was in 2019 when they reached the final.

Senegal seems to be having a problem in their front line despite having a high-quality player like Sadio Mane. The Lions of Teranga missed their best chance when Buona Sarr’s attempt went far away from the goal, and the opportunity that Mane had created for him was wasted in the 67th minute of the game.

Both Senegal and Guinea should reach the next round as they have weaker opponents like Malawi and Zimbabwe.
