Ronald Araujo, and they are hoping that Araujo’s negotiations with the Catalans would break down and they get a chance to step in and sign one of the very few good things that have happened to Barcelona.
The Uruguay international has been an important part of the Catalans’ squad giving the fans hope that he can empower the La Liga giants and keep helping their defensive line for years, but now his negotiations with the club have been problematic, and the Premier League side is waiting for an opportunity to step in and convince the player who has a £168m release clause in his contract. Despite Araujo’s heavy release clause, Manchester United is hopeful that they can reach an agreement with the La Liga side as they know that there are only 18 months left on Araujo’s contract, and they have failed to reach an agreement with him, so it would be possible that they can sign him with a lower price.
