Former Valencia striker on Atletico's radar

Atletico are looking to bring back the former Valencia striker to replace Diego Costa.

Half a season after moving to the English Premier League, Rodrigo Moreno is now on Atletico Madrid's signing list.

Leeds, who bought Rodrigo for £27million in the summer, broke his club's transfer record with the transfer. But Rodrigo has not performed well since moving to Leeds, scoring just three goals in 14 games - started 8 of those 14 games .Leeds expected him to perform better, although he is still an important player in the Bilsa team.

But Tutu Napoli has claimed that Atletico Madrid are monitoring Moreno as Diego Costa's replacement. Atletico Madrid have terminated Diego Costa's contract and are now looking for a replacement for the Spanish striker. Arkadiusz Milik is considered by Atletico Madrid as the main option, but TutoNapoli claims that Rodrigo Moreno is considered by Atletico as an alternative for Milik.

Rodrigo has played for Valencia for many years and has a very good experience in La Liga. His contract with Leeds is valid until 2024, so Atletico will not be in a hurry for this transfer.
