Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka were given the award as German Football Ambassadors of 2020 for the #WeKickCorona campaign they made earlier this year.
This award was presented to the two German internationals in May by a top panel of specialists led by editor-in-chief Rainer Holzschuh and including ex-coaches within the Germany national team, Horst Hrubesch and Berti Vogts.

Both Bayern players have put out a strong message of social responsibility and have been honored by several sources for their service.

” as the 2020 Bavarian Sports Awards.
