Research tasks are a brand new feature in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These are small tasks that you must do for each Pokémon in the Pokédex in order to complete their entry.
Every Pokémon in the game has its own set of objectives, however many of them will be repeated, such as catching a specific number of them, watching them use a move a particular number of times, evolving them, and so on.
Multiple tiers of research tasks are also available. By repeating a task several times, you can raise that Pokémon's research level. You may be required to accomplish Requests connected to that Pokémon as part of some research activities.
To see any Pokémon's research tasks, simply open your Pokédex and look for the Pokémon you wish to see. The current research level for that Pokémon is displayed at the bottom of the page.
They'll all start at level 0, and while they can advance up to 10, 10 is the greatest level you'll need to count their Pokédex entry as "complete."
The majority of research tasks are self-explanatory, but looking through your Pokédex is the best approach to figure out what you need to accomplish to advance your research levels.
Nearly every Pokémon has a number caught, which can be repeated a few times. When other activities are more difficult or random, use tasks like this that can be done several times to help.
Because you only need to get them to level 10, you don't need to complete every mission if you can substitute others. Each task can be completed up to five times for a total of at least five levels of research.
