Angel Di Maria Early Life

Now it’s time to know about

Angel Di Maria childhood

story:

Angel Fabian Di Maria Hernandez was born in Rosario, Argentina, on February 14, 1988, on St. Valentine's Day. Apart from Christian Eriksen and

Edinson Cavani

, Di Maria is the most well-known footballer to have been born on Valentine's Day in 1988.

He was one of three children raised in Perdriel by his mother, Diana Hernández, and father, Miguel Di Maria. Angel Di Maria was an unusually active child in sports as a child, and at the age of three, he was signed up for football on the advice of a doctor.

Angel began practicing football after his doctor advised the boy's parents to allow him to participate in sports in order to channel his boundless energy.

Even while playing football, he assisted his parents and two sisters, Vanesa and Evelyn, with their work at a local coal yard. Purchasing football boots and keeping up with Di Maria's hobby was complicated for his parents due to his family's low salary.

It's worth remembering that Di Maria joined local club Rosario Central in 1995 (after being spotted playing for a minor local team at the age of seven and being purchased for 30 footballs) and In 2005, he earned his certificate from the youth academy. As they say, the rest is history.

Angel Di Maria Profile

Born in Rosario, Argentina, he started his football career with Rosario Central at the age of four. On December 14, 2005, he made his first-team debut against Independiente.

SL Benfica, a Portuguese giant, signed him and scouted him in 2007. On February 27, 2010, he made his mark on the rest of Europe by scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Leixoes.

Real Madrid was the first club to sign him, offering €35 million for the lanky Argentine. For Los Blancos, the winger played in 190 competitive matches, scoring 36 goals and delivering an impressive 85 assists to his teammates.

His efforts were vital to the All-Whites’ progress, as they won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League. The Argentine winger signed with English club Manchester United on August 26, 2014, but his tenure with the Red Devils was short-lived.

Chaos at the club, as well as his own inability to fit into English culture, saw the winger leave after only one season. PSG's 2015/16 domestic treble of Ligue 1, Coupe de France, and Coupe de la Ligue was fuelled by the Argentine winger's best form of his career, with 74 goals and 71 assists in 192 appearances for Les Parsons.

On the international level, he has won 104 caps for Argentina, finishing second to Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Style of Play

Di Maria is a fast, tricky, and talented winger who can also play as a central attacking midfielder or on either side of the field, despite being primarily a left-footed player.

He's also been used effectively as a central midfielder, most notably during Carlo Ancelotti's time at Real Madrid. Di Maria, who has a slender body, is an athletic, imaginative, and highly skilled player with outstanding dribbling skills and ball control, as well as great speed, endurance, and acceleration, which allow him to easily beat players in one-on-one situations.

He also has outstanding vision, set-piece delivery, passing, and crossing ability, allowing him to play as a playmaker and assist provider, while also scoring goals and taking accurate free kicks.

Behind his lack of physical presence, he is a really hardworking player who has developed his defensive skills under manager José Mourinho.

Reception

Angel has played in popular teams during his playing career and has been able to find fans for himself during this period, especially because he has played with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Real Madrid team and Messi in the Argentine national team, and this has increased his fans.

Goal Celebration

Angel has scored many goals in his career, and the joy of his unique goal is that after each goal, he places his hands on his heart, which we will tell you about below.

"It's for my wife, who moved to Portugal with me in 2008. We had a match against Benfica the day she came. By forming a heart with my hands, I signed and celebrated. And I've been doing it ever since.

Angel Di Maria Outside Football

Outside of football, Angel spends much of his time with his family and wife, helping to assist his wife in raising her son, and he is less visible in the media. we will look at

Angel Di Maria life story

, including his career and personal life. And it will be nice to learn more about the Angel Di Maria biography.

Angel Di Maria Personal Life

Due to his slim body, Di Maria is known as "Fideo," which means "noodle" in Spanish. He has Italian ancestry, so he has an Italian passport.

In 2011, he married fellow Argentine Jorgelina. Pia, their daughter, was born three months early and survived following surgery at the Hospital Universitario Monteprncipe in Madrid's intensive care unit.

On January 31, 2015, an alleged robbery happened at Di Maria's home in Prestbury, Cheshire. On 2 September 2020, it was reported that Di María, along with PSG teammates

Neymar

and Leandro Paredes, tested positive for COVID-19.

On September 2, 2020, it was revealed that Di Maria had tested positive for COVID-19, along with PSG teammates Neymar and Leandro Paredes.

The three players allegedly went on holiday to Ibiza, according to the French sports newspaper L'Équipe. As a result, they were put on a one-week quarantine, and the majority of the players and working staff were forced to take a coronavirus test the next week.

Family, Children, Relationship

The love story of Angel Di Maria revolves around a single woman. Jorgelina Cardoso, a white Argentinian who is around 5 years his age, is who she is.

Jorgelina is well-known in Argentina for her toned body. This is why Di Maria confronted her while he was at the top of his career at Benfica. He was nicknamed "Magic Tri Maria" by all Portuguese newspapers at one stage.

Jorgelina has been called "the greatest fan" of her football-playing husband by the Argentine press, and she isn't ashamed to box the ears of someone who dares to ridicule Di Maria. It didn't take long for Di Maria to nominate her as his boss.

She was the driving force behind Argentina's success. Di Maria's trust on the field increased as a result of her. As a result, he was given a relocation to Real Madrid, which was unexpectedly confirmed by the Portuguese Stock Exchange regulatory body.

Since seeing both of these milestones, Angel Di Maria agreed to pledge his love for Jorgelina (née Cardoso), a fellow Argentine. In 2011, they wed (two years after they met).

Mia, their daughter, was born in 2013. The girl had to spend two months in the hospital due to her sickness. Mia, who was delivered three months early and survived following surgery at the Hospital Universitario Monte Principe in Madrid's intensive care unit.

Miguel, Angel's father, was a respectable footballer as well, but his hope of joining the RiverPlate was derailed when he suffered a career-ending knee injury just before his debut.

Instead, he spent 16 years working in a coal yard for a pittance. Miguel's son Angel, who shared a room with his two parents, easily learned that football was his ticket to a better life (Lionel Messi grew up in Rosario as well, but his middle-class upbringing allowed him to have a more privileged childhood.)

Angel Di Maria's mum, Diana Hernández, is the driving force behind her son's football career. Her husband was apprehensive about his son pursuing football as a profession because of his own disappointment in the sport.

She pushed her husband to embrace what was to come, recognizing that he was already excited about soccer. After a psychiatrist suggested that Little Angel be put into practice a sport (Martial Art or Football) to control his juvenile hyperactivity, she determined that the little angel, her first child, would play football.

Diana Hernández is her son's second-largest supporter, after his wife Jorgelina Cardoso. Evelyn Di Maria Hernández and Vanesa Di Maria Hernández are Angel Di Maria's two younger sisters.

Evelyn and Vanesa were critical in assisting their parents and older brother (Angel) with jobs at the nearby coal yard back in the day.

Philanthropy

Angel Di Maria manages to reveal that he is an outstanding footballer both on and off the field. When his daughter Mia was born three months prematurely, the Manchester United star was on the brink of losing her. As a result, Di Maria has agreed to support UNICEF's drive to raise awareness of premature births.

Legal issues

Angel Di Maria has no legal issues as of now being 33 years old, his personal life is still free of legal issues. It can be said that he did not have any legal issues during his playing days, and we will have to wait and see if he does so in the future. He is unlikely to face legal trouble in the near future.

Angel Di Maria career statistics

Angel has represented five clubs in his career: Benfica, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Rosario Central. We'll go over his time on these teams in the sections below.

Club

The first team that he played for was Rosario Central and now we want to read about it.

Rosario Central

Di Maria began attending Rosario Central at the age of four. He was given 35 footballs as compensation because he had already committed to playing for his local club, Torito.

Di Maria made his professional debut on 14 December 2005, replacing Emiliano Vecchio in Rosario's final Apertura match, a 2–2 draw away to Independiente. He scored his first goal in the Apertura the following season, in a 4–2 win over Quilmes at home, a minute after replacing Leonardo Borzani at half-time.

Boca Juniors made a US$6.5 million bid for him after he played in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. Arsenal in England approached him, but the deal fell through due to the UK's strict rules on issuing work permits to players from outside the European Union.

Benfica

In July 2007, Di Maria was transferred to Benfica, a Portuguese club, where he played as a winger. Benfica paid Rosario Central €6 million for 80% of his sports rights and 50% of Andrés Daz's sports rights.

The Portuguese club paid an additional €2 million for the remaining 20% in August 2008 but re-sold 10% to GestiFute. Di Maria was brought in to replace Benfica captain Simo, who had left to join Atlético Madrid earlier that summer.

In October 2009, Di Maria signed a new contract with Benfica, extending his current contract by three years until June 30, 2015, with a release fee of at least €40 million. Diego Maradona backed him to become "Argentina's next superstar" later that month.

Real Madrid

On June 28, 2010, Real Madrid announced on their website that they had reached an agreement with Benfica for Di Maria's transfer. The Portuguese Stock Exchange regulating entity announced one day later that he had signed a five-year contract worth €25 million-plus €11 million in incentives.

Di Maria arrived in Madrid from Buenos Aires on July 7, 2010, and completed the medical exam on July 8. On August 4, 2010, he made his Real Madrid debut in a friendly match against the Mexican side of America, in which Real Madrid won 3–2.

The match ended in a 4–1 win for Mourinho's side. Di Maria scored Real's first goal from a close angle in a 3–0 La Liga win over Sporting de Gijon on December 3, 2011.

He was a persistent threat and presence in the starting XI as Real Madrid secured their 32nd league title, scoring three goals in a 3–0 victory over

Athletic Bilbao

Di Maria dribbled past two players in the 2014 UEFA Champions League Final versus Atlético Madrid on May 24, 2014, before prompting a save from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

In the 110th minute, Di Maria's teammate

Gareth Bale

headed the rebound into the net, giving Real Madrid a 2–1 advantage over Atlético in a 4–1 won.

After the game, UEFA called Di Maria Man of the Match, and he was presented with the award by former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United

Di Maria signed a five-year contact with Manchester United on August 26, 2014, for a transfer fee of £59.7 million, one of the most expensive transfers in history and the highest fee ever charged by a British club at the time.

At United, he inherited the number 7 jersey worn by club icons such as George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham, and

Cristiano Ronaldo

.

Di Maria returned from injury on January 4, 2015, to score a late goal in a 0–2 FA Cup third-round victory over Yeovil Town. He was used as a forward by manager Louis van Gaal in a 0–1 home loss to

Southampton

a week later.

He was sent off for diving and catching the jersey of referee Michael Oliver on March 9, as United lost 1–2 at home to Arsenal in the FA Cup sixth round. He had earlier set up Wayne Rooney's equalizer.

Paris Saint-Germain

Di Maria skipped a flight to the United States to join Manchester United's pre-season tour on July 25, 2015, and manager Louis van Gaal confirmed that he "did not know why."

On August 2, 2015 it was confirmed that Di Maria will have a medical before joining Paris Saint-Germain, and four days later, Manchester United revealed that he had been sold to the French champions for an undisclosed fee, estimated to be about £44 million, and had signed a four-year deal.

Di Maria registered two assists in a home match against Istanbul Başakşehir on December 9, 2020, and went on to become the player with the third-most assists in UEFA Champions League history with 32, behind only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
