Frank: "I’m excited for Damsgaard this season"
Last season, Damsgaard joined Brentford from Sampdoria.
Mikkel Damsgaard, who is 23 years old, joined
Brentfordfrom Sampdoria last season. He started in only nine games for Brentford and came off the bench in 17 matches as a substitute.
Thomas Frank, the head coach of Brentford, stated before the friendly match against Aston Villa that we will see a different Damsgaard this season.
“He’s been good in pre-season. He came back in a good place. I’m excited for him this season.
“We know he has the ability to find a pass, score goals and set up other players, and that’s what I’m excited to hopefully see from him this season. It looks promising.”
Damsgaard has played 25 matches for the Denmark national team and has scored four goals.
