Pereira :"For me, Hope Solo was the best"
The goalkeeper of the Portuguese women's team says that Hope Solo has been her idol.
The Portuguese women's national team are participating in the World Cup for the first time this year.
They are in Group E with teams like the United States, Vietnam, and the Netherlands.
Pereira spoke to Indivisa about his childhood idol.
"For female goalkeepers, it was Hope Solo. As for men's goalkeepers, it was Iker Casillas and Gianluigi Buffon. I love Oliver Kahn also, but he was not in my time! I saw a lot of goalkeepers but Hope Solo, for me, she was the best. Maybe for everyone, she was one of the best goalkeepers in the world."

Pereira, who made her debut for the Portuguese women's national team in 2018, has played 32 games for the team until now.
