Tottenham captain will not play again this season
Hugo Lloris will not play anymore this season due to injury.
Lloris, who was injured during
Tottenham's 6-1 loss against Newcastle and was substituted during halftime, will not play for Spurs for the rest of this season.
Ryan Mason, Tottenham's head coach, confirmed this news in a press conference before the game against Crystal Palace.
“Hugo’s out for the season”
Masod said.
“We had the results back. Obviously disappointing, but we kind of feared that initially. We did some more tests and he won’t play for us again this season.
“I can’t speak about next season but what I can say is that he has a very important role for us until the end of the season. We need him. We need him to be part of the group and I’m sure he will be.”
Tottenham need to win the game against Crystal Palace to keep their chances of playing in Europe alive.
