Tommy Doyle, who's currently on loan from Man City, scored the Blades’ winner in the stoppage time but will be unable to feature against his parent club in the semi-finals.
Manchester United defeated 9-men Fulham 3-1 at home on Sunday, and they will face Brighton and Hove Albion in the semi-finals of the tournament. Sunday's draw gives the possibility of a Manchester derby in the final. Brighton's Evan Ferguson became the top-scoring Premier League teenager across all competitions this season after he scored twice in Brighton's 5-0 victory over Grimsby Town.
