Serie A giant interested in signing Umtiti

Barcelona are in desperate need of balancing out their finances by reducing their wages. They have tried time and time again to ship out players like

However, it seems that Umtiti might’ve found the perfect suitor as Serie A champions Ac Milan are keen to sign the defender. Umtiti who was loaned out to Lecce last summer, impressed Milan hierarchy enough that they, alongside some other clubs are interested in signing the Frenchman, as confirmed by Lecce sporting director Pantaleo.

“When you arrive in your first year in Serie A you have to try to create the right mix, a cocktail of experience and youth. For a director, it is a very important aspect, and the arrival of Umtiti responded to this need.”

Pantaleo told MD.

“Let’s see if we have the approval of Barca and the player. If we have the go-ahead from both, that can be explored. Last summer, Umtiti already had the will to choose Lecce.”
