Griezmann wants Atletico fans to end protest against the club's owners

Atletico Madrid managed to win over Athletic Club in a La Liga match on Sunday thanks to Griezmann's goal in the 73rd minute. Mattress Makers are now in fourth place in the La Liga table with a 2 points difference from Real Sociedad.

Although

Griezmann

was happy about his club's victory, he was not so satisfied with the atmosphere of the Civitas Metropolitano as the singing section show their protest about the club's owners, especially Miguel Angel and his family very clearly.

They only sang in support of Cholo Simeone and were silent at other times of the match.

This is while many fans whistle their chants and this situation creates a quiet and strange atmosphere for the club.

Griezmann is not pleased with the

Atletico Madrid

fans's protest against the owners as he said to DAZN about the atmosphere of the stadium.

“I wanted to score a goal, I had the chances, and when you’re fighting and trying, at the end you get it. Ultimately, it’s about streaks, and I hope I can score more goals, but it’s true that it’s more difficult here because of the fans.”
