Al Hilal keen on signing Messi to bring him to 'league of new dreams'
Being greatly interested in making the "League of New Dreams" even more exciting, Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal hopes to sign Messi.
Al Hilal offered a jaw-dropping amount of £306- million to bring the Argentinian superstar to the Saudi Arabian pro league which could reignite
Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi Rivalry.
But it seems General secretary of Saudi Arabia's Football Federation Ibrahim Alkassim is not sure about Messi’s arrival as he told Marca:
"At the moment we do not know anything about a possible Lionel Messi arrival.
"Although I do not hide that, as Saudi Federation, we would like to have him one day in the domestic league.
"The idea of the Federation is always to improve our football, and of course, we would like to see Cristiano and Messi in the same league again.
"But the truth is that we don't know anything now."
If
Messisigns a contract with the Arabian Club, he would become the highest-paid football player in the world.
