Man Utd’s Greenwood arrested again for violating bail conditions

The Red Devils forward got arrested again on Saturday as he allegedly violated the conditions of his bail.

Reports claim that

, the Manchester United forward, was arrested again due to allegedly breaking his bail conditions. In January, the England international got arrested after being accused of committing acts of rape and assault. Moreover, he was also in question for making threats to kill someone. The club suspended the English forward from featuring for the club or training after the allegations surfaced the internet.

For the conditional bail he got, Greenwood was released and that bail was extended in April and following that in June. As per reports from Stats Perform, the United player got arrested again at his home in Greater Manchester on Saturday since reports claim that he allegedly violated the conditions of his bail.

In a statement provided to Stats Perform, Greater Manchester Police said they were 

"aware of an allegation regarding a 21-year-old man breaching his bail conditions and an arrest has been made on Saturday 15 October 2022".

The statement concluded:

"Enquiries are ongoing at this time."

Manchester United have kept Greenwood in suspension since the allegations were brought to light. The last time he featured for the Premier League side was on January 22.
