Carlo Ancelotti laughs at "inventing new strategy" for El Clasico
Real Madrid will face their arch-rivals Barcelona on Sunday as they try to take the lead over the Blaugrana at top of the La Lga table. Real Madrid’s boss rules out using a new strategy in their upcoming El Clasico.
The joint-La Liga leaders will face each other at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday as
Barcelonais leading the table due to a goal difference. Asked if he might invent a new strategy for the upcoming match,
Carlo Ancelottilaughed and told his press conference:
“Invent… I have never invented anything. In football, there are no inventors. Football was invented a long time ago. What is clear is that I do not want to invent. It’s true that last year I tried to invent something and they gave me a beating…”

Being asked if he would use the same line-up as their Champions League final against Liverpool, but with
Aurelien Tchouamenireplacing Casemiro, the Italian coach said:
“The team from Paris, in terms of mentality, of course the same one as Paris is good. They are clear on what they have to do on the pitch. We will try to play a complete match, attacking well and defending well. Doing everything well, only in that way can they win matches and titles.”
