Conte one of the best Italian coach - De Zerbi

Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi spoke about his last meeting with the Italian coach in Serie A ahead of his clash with Antonio Conte.

In his first game on the bench for Brighton, De Zerbi drew 3-3 with Liverpool, and in the next game he has to face Tottenham. He and Antonio Conte have faced each other in Serie A, and their last encounter was controversial. In fact, Sassuolo under the leadership of De Zerbi had possession of the ball, but the leading Inter under the leadership of Conte, was able to defeat the opponent and get 3 points. But the new head coach of Brighton believes that the decisions of the referee were effective in that match.

Asked about that game, He told

: "There was a clear penalty. You forget an important detail.

"But the Inter of Conte was a very very great team. Sassuolo was a not-so-big team like Inter but with Sassuolo we won against Roma, against Napoli and against Inter in the first year."

Di Zerbi has been hailed by the Italian media as a Guardiola-like coach, while Conte has been compared to Mourinho for his tactics.

Asked to choose between Guardiola and Conte, De Zerbi said:

"I think Guardiola is, for me, the best coach in all time no?" he says. "I remember his Barcelona, they changed the vision of football, in Bayern Munich it was amazing and the same now at City.

"But there are many other coaches I watch and understand, [Marcelo] Bielsa is one of them and Antonio Conte is, for me, one of the best Italian coaches. [Zdenek] Zeman was a great great coach - but you have to build your own clear idea, you cannot make the same work."
